Digital Localization & Ad Campaigns

Nando’s US was poised to kick off their largest advertising campaign to date. Prior to launch, they needed to replace their outdated website with a new web presence designed by Nando’s UK, which needed to be localized for the US market.

The Challenge

- UK code base had product and restaurant information and content relevant to that market that needed to be replaced for the US

- The turnaround for the launch of the brand advertising campaign was tight, working under a strict 7 week deadline

- Site modules, like online ordering, catering, and e-commerce, needed to work on the new platform

The Solution

-Took as much of the UK code base as possible to reproduce the site with all content and data relevant to the US market

-Built a brand advertising campaign that offered discounts and engaging content in exchange for email registrations

-Launched an earned media campaign timed around the 2016 Presidential Inauguration that promoted inclusion, one of Nando’s core values
